EMBO Practical Course: “Advanced Methods in Bioimage Analysis”

We are happy to announce that the application portal for the EMBO Practical Course: “Advanced Methods in Bioimage Analysis” is now open! In the 2025 instance of the course, participants will learn about cutting-edge concepts for image analysis workflow and data management, how to use AI and natural language processing for image analysis, spatial statistics/omics integration, and much, much more. For each module, participants will learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of the latest developments, and network with the international image analysis community.

Interview Gisele

After 5 years with BIIF, Gisele Miranda started her own group as a SciLifeLab fellow. In an interview with Euro-BioImaging, Gisele talks about her experience in being an image analyst in a core facility and developing unique solutions to a wide range of multidisciplinary projects. She also shares what helped her along the way in this career transition.

DDLS research area symposia Imaging in Cell and Molecular Biology

The DDLS research area Expert Group in Cell and Molecular Biology invites all interested in data-driven life science to meet, present, interact, and discuss Imaging in Cell and Molecular Biology. The event will take place at Ångström Laboratory in Uppsala and will include presentations from international and national invited speakers and selected abstracts.
BIIF will be there with digital posters on TissUUmaps and our services - please pass by and say “hi!”.

Euro-Bioimaging Image Data Community Days

In a week-long free online event, Euro-BioImaging will bring together Euro-BioImaging Node staff, researchers and other experts from across the globe to explore and discuss the latest advancements in the field of image data. Throughout the week, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sessions, ranging from overview talks to in-depth workshops on key topics such as FAIR data, preclinical and medical image data, image analysis, next-generation file formats and AI.
