Course description

The lecture and workshop were a part of the AI Tools in Biology course at Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences), Uppsala, Sweden (see webpage here).

The goal of the workshop was to introduce students to coomon technical terminology in image analysis. Additionally, students had the chance to understand and work with tools often used in image analysis, including deep learning models.

Learning Objectives

Meet the Bioimage Informatics Unit experts one can turn to for help with image analysis.
Practice pipelines of typical examples of what can be done with image analysis.
Practice using tools with deep learning models to analyze bioimages.
